It looks like I overestimated a little bit.

I think I posted some time ago that all of my empty 16.9 ounce water bottles have been accumulating in garbage bags in my basement because I have not taken any of them in for redemption since I've been isolating myself. You get your 5 cent deposit returned to you for each empty plastic bottle that you return (also cans). If I recall correctly, I estimated that I had over $3 million dollars in empty bottles.

I've been isolated for 131 days, and I finally broke down and sorted and counted them, and placed them in my driveway for pickup today from the bottle redemption guy. He will leave the money in my mail box.

They are sitting in 13 large garbage bags in my driveway. 99% plastic water bottles, the rest are cans of soda.

That equates to 1,108 cans and bottles in 131 days. At 5 cents a piece, I will be receiving $55.40 in cash.

That's a little lower than the $3 million amount which was estimated in my previous post.

Now for the good news.

At the beginning of the 131 day period, my net worth was exactly $0.00. When I receive the cash for the bottles later on today, my net worth will be $55.40. That means I will have reached 5.54% of my goal of becoming a thousandaire by the time I die.

By the way, if you need an estimate for anything...any type of project or whatever that you are considering, I would be happy to work one up for you, free of charge. I was an estimator for large projects for a good portion of my career. I'm a pro.

And I don't care for your gross display of your wealth. If I'm ever a Thousandaire, I won't be putting on such airs.

If somebody in the trump administration sees your post, they will snap you up pronto. They will pay you $175,000 per year to coble together benefits that people who vote for trump will receive.

The first million was too hard so I thought I’d work on the second.”
