There's been an addition to the possum family.

I just saw a possum stroll through my front yard with two babies hanging on her back. I tried to get a picture, but they move faster than you would think.

Although they are mammals, their body temp. is so low they really don't carry rabies. It's good to have possums on your property, especially if you live in a part of the country endemic to ticks. My sister has a lot of land in north-central Florida and she raises orphaned possum babies so she can let them go on her property to eat ticks.
