What about the Oscars?

This questions was posed by a friend:

With Covid 19 and most movies seem to be release to Pay-Pre- View and Amazon Prime will these movies be considered for awards? Granted the ceremony may not they can still have winners.

I have a friend who is in the Academy, and he gets dvds from every movie and streaming series. The series contain all the episodes of the season.
