(52,992 posts)I had an orange kitten born in my house. I am pretty sure he was born with a surface search radar in his little orange head. I had one of those cat beds with 6 walls around it, and the little bastard climbed out of it the second day he was alive. On day 4, he decided (at three in the morning) he wanted someone to play with him (his litter had one kitty in it, him) so he crawled out of his bed, found my bed, climbed the blanket (remember, his eyes are still closed) and meowed very loudly until I woke up and played with him...at which point I informed him he couldnt be doing that shit in the dark because he was the same color as the carpet.
Then came First Wet Food day. I bought some really expensive deluxe wet kitten food. He buried it (three days before he saw the litter box the first time) and ate half his mothers food.

Still a kid even at 72, I guess......

(9,303 posts)and the digital techniques are making it fun again ... and long may ot last.
I never thought his, or Calvin and Hobbes, were ever just for, or even primarily for, children. (I'm 74 myself.)
