I had fun patients tonight.

I handed a patient his MRI screening form and after a few minutes he came back up to the desk and asked me where he should check-off "alien DNA" because he thought he had been exposed. We had a nice giggle and then commiserated over the bat-shit pResident. Later, another patient, an 18-year-old student, told me he loved my "Bernie" mug and we had a nice chat about possible VP picks while his mom underwent her MRI. It was a good night.

I saw my rheumatologist today and he asked me what I had been up to and I told him I just finished my Contact Tracing Certification. Well, he went off on trump and told me how hard my job would be due to the horrible way in which trump has handled testing and the fact that it takes a week to get results and even then sometimes they are negative when the person is known to have covid. He was quite animated and obviously a little mad so I told him trump was criminally negligent and he agreed.

It was nice to see that he was so in tune with what was going on.

One of our radiologists is so sick and tired of seeing patients lowering then masks below their noses that he personally confronts them. We've also had some other staff members that pull their masks down while at work and this physician is on a mission to make sure there are repercussions if they are caught wearing masks the wrong way. I have so much respect for this doc.

At least masks are required before a patient can set foot inside the clinic...
