9. Yes a few hours after sun set or before sun rise is good. Then you can be sure they are,...

.... all in there, not coming back in to the nest, sneaking around behind you, and biting multiple times. Wear a thick long sleeve sweater and long pants. Make sure the bug spray has a good healthy long full blast stream.
