Witness a brood of 10 burrowing owl chicks mature on a huge wheat farm in Montana....
Never knew there's such a thing as burrowing owls, being raised around farmland in the South. I have enjoyed watching prairie dogs play outside my motel window during many service jobs in Wyoming.

rope off the area of their nests and put up signs to let them be.. It's neat to see people care..

Yup, dat be dem.... short little guys.. about 9 to 12" tall.. Very chill.. You walk by them and they just rotate that turret like head and stare at you like WTF are you lookin' at?
