our new fridge has an ethylene filter in the fruit drawer to slow down ripening.
i'll say!
it looked exactly as it did the day i put it in there and tasted just like the other one i had a month ago straight from the store!
i'm shocked that some "advanced technology" they use to sell fridges actually works (if you've ever thought about getting a fridge with one of those tap-to-see-what's-inside windows,... don't!)

(12,265 posts)I had a peach that I know had been in there for 3 weeks, it was wonderful. My husband loves it, says it is fabulous! The same with the crisper for veggies, they are lasting longer too.
