We just felt our first earthquake. 5.97 hours away in Nicoya.

1. Are earthquakes common in your area?

I think I’ve experienced one or two. They are indeed a strange feeling.

8. About 12 per day. 300 a month.

Mostly small. But this one was felt a long way.

9. Not in our home but they are everywhere.

Lots of homes just have a big black water tank and use gravity for hot water.
