Also, he can be a victim of a parasite which attacks and destroys the brain and his behavior will become, shall I say, erratic.
He is a wild thing and sensitive about his personal space.

(29,173 posts)they're usually easy going, not looking for trouble. However, a healthy mature bull can weight up to 1500 pounds. Best to let them go about their moosey business.

(853 posts)I was fly-fishing the Madison in Montana when a huge bull peered through some willows right in front of me. About 20 yards away. Easy 6-foot spread on his antlers. I slowly backed out of the river and proceeded to watch him for about 15 minutes. He just came out of the willows, glanced at me and meandered downstream away from my location. It was scary at first. I realize now that it was another god moment in my life. Just me and him. In the middle of nowhere. It was awesome.
