My dreams have been offically taken over by Covid.

I dreamed I was with my two best childhood friends in a plush hotel room in Panama. For some reason, we decided to go down to the lobby for some reason. In the lobby, there was a lot of activity and we got separated. So I'm walking around looking for them, and I realize that no one was wearing masks.

So I went to look for the elevator and I missed getting into a crowded one that was controlled by an elevator assistant. He waved me off. I thought, no big deal. Who wants to get into a crowded elevator? So I waited. But the elevator took a long time to come down and people began to get in line behind me.

Suddenly, I had a vision of what happened to the elevator. The people that went up with the elevator attendant were other hotel workers. They had intentionally stopped the elevator between floors, took out cots and were taking a nap.

So I tried the stairs first. I think there was a guard at the stairwell and I had to find my way around her to get up the stairs, but I didn't have much success walking up because there was something wrong with the stairs. I think I was sinking into the steps and decided to go out and find another way. But, once I left the building, it was difficult to find my way back in because the doors were locked.

And, then I understood why. They WERE following Covid rules. Only one door would allow you into the building. Once I got in, I found another stairwell. I think I did find a stairwell that worked, but, instead of going to the plush hotel room, I ended up in my single dormitory room, back in college.

Weird.

I'm amazed you could remember all that detail. I generally forget 90% of my dreams once I wake up. But then, I'm getting to an age where I forget a lot of things.

One I recall involved me being in a place where nobody was wearing masks and I panicked when I suddenly realized I didn't have one either. Nobody else seemed to care.

Only a few thank goodness

One I was looking down at a group of people who weren't wearing masks.

The one the night before a friend and I were at 90° angle to each other standing by a bare counters corner - office? Or emptied Cafe.
We suddenly looked at each other and gasped bc we weren't wearing masks, nor did we have any with us.

I have had very detail, vivid dreams in color all my life.
I am very glad that they go on even the wildly crazy ones free of covid19 stuff! 👍

across what I think was an English countryside.

And I sang one night. Effortlessly. I'm tone deaf, so I loved the ability to hit beautiful notes without feeling a strain in my throat.

floated, glided in my dreams a good amount.

How wonderful you could sing so clearly in your dream!

Not long ago. As long as I could sustain a taunting, reckless attitude, I could rise above the snarling teeth of a vicious dog. The more irresponsible I was, the easier it was to reach lift. But once someone brought the reality of my dangerous situation, I began to descend. What a quandary.
