If you have a towel, grab him by the scuff and wrap him in the towel, (if it's big enough). The little guy obviously can't bite you because his head is wrapped in metal.
I guess they handled it anyway, without my help.

I've rescued a few skunks with their heads stuck in peanut butter and mayonnaise bottles.
Pretty stinky but rewarding when they run free!
