Let's talk curved or flexible channel drains.

I'm looking for a deep channel drain that works itself, discretely, along the edges of a curved deck. Anyone have ideas?

This is a far better option than sinking a french drain for this area because there will be leaves from the roof carried along with the rainwater. Opening up a grate for clean-up is a better solution than the options available for french drains.

I need to move the water parallel to the house and have it dump on the sideyard. Right now I will be lucky to find a three inch surface slope from the point of water origin, to the sideyard, which is a distance of about 25 to 30 feet.

Right now it just dumps onto the backyard, but sometimes the water backs into the patio. We're just trying to be more efficient.

It hasn't rained yet but I did sort of test it with the hose and it definitely was an improvement. I used the NDS drain kit....https://www.lowes.com/pd/NDS-40-in-L-x-5-in-W-Channel-Drain-Kit/1119169 . I hooked three of them together. Already had an underground pipe to take the water away into the woods. Very easy connection. They say to pour concrete around the drain. I did QP since my driveway is gravel. All together a 4-5 hour job. Cost about $175 with the pvc pipes for connection.
