Some nice news: today the new season of Jeopardy starts!

I am feeling extra vibes for Alex Trebek today, knowing his cancer is in remission and having lots of hope for him.

I think they should stay after the pandemic. At my first glance, I thought it might be a high-scoring game overall because the contestants would most likely be less distracted in the individual podiums. And it was a high-scoring game for all the contestants.

I have always thought that the old contestant setup would be a potentially big performance detriment, if you got one of the Mad Clickers right next to you. Hard enough to be up there, being filmed, and trying to do your best to win, without some Mad Clicker next to you being extremely distracting.

(And yes, Alex looks great.)
