5. I think he says

"b-yurds" or something similar. He says the same thing in any of his videos with birds, then he’ll sometimes start pronouncing the word correctly. He does the same for a few other words, for the comic effect, I guess.

4. I've never seen a hummingbird tongue before.

I had 3 hummingbirds flitting around my yard this year. One was a baby and it rested on a plant and cleaned itself under one of its wings, like a dog scratching its ear with its hind paw.
