Shaved my beard off a few hours ago.

I miss it.

Reason: I have an appointment with a retina specialist this week. Like all eye doctors, he gets real up close and personal with your face. I want the tightest seal I can get with a mask.

I'm so nervous about this appointment that I'll probably wear 3 masks and put caulk around the edge that meets my face.

And be sure to shower and wash clothes when you get home.
You'll be fine.
Good luck.

Frogtape brand is what we used and it worked great. Plus it comes in a lovely tree frog green color that really sets off any complexion!

Also, since Covid can enter through the eyes, I'm thinking of stapling my upper and lower eyelids together.

If he says something like "How am I supposed to examine your eyes"?, I'll just say "That's your problem, not mine".

But after I posted I realized that if you use Frogtape, you will not need to shave. Frogtape sticks not quite as well as duck tape, but it is pretty adhesive.

AS for your eyes, just tape them open and rinse with your choice of disinfectant when he is finished.

Be sure to have a really bright light shining in your eyes. If you can get retinal reflection, that should be perfect.

Sort of like this:

If you are not yourself a smoker, why do you put up with this?

Or are you simply messing with me?

Just cover your whole face (except the eyes) with it (hope you can hold your breath for an hour or so). Everybody knows duct Tape fixes EVERYTHING.
