(44 posts)My cat does the same thing to any people food, including fish. She only eats hard food and treats. As a rescue at about 6 months old, she came to me only eating Purina hard food and Temptations (chicken only) treats. She makes an exception if she knows I'm drinking Pepsi. It must be like Catnip to her. She'll chase me down to try to get a sniff, but not Coca-Cola.

(44 posts)I had the bottle of coke by the toilet as I heard that worked on hard water stains (I'm not impressed), so I put her to the taste test. She overwhelming passed😊🐈

(44 posts)Before our two beloved dogs passed in March (within weeks of each other 😢 , our Patches used to try to bury their food by kicking the corners of the rugs up over the food.
Funny creatures😊

(22,235 posts)I would put down a piece for him, he would walk up to it, sniff it and tap it then look at me like "This crap again"
This was also the cat who loved tomato juice. I made a drink for him in a wine glass with a stick of celery stuck in it and he drank it. I have pictures somewhere. He used to bite chunks out of the garden tomatoes..
