I knew someone who worked at a Hooters.

She made really nice tips, helped pay for school.

6. I don't give tips based on a server's looks.

I once accidentally shorted a server because I enjoyed chit-chatting with her and didn't want her to think I was trying to make a big impression. I was trying to calculate 15% and only realized after I left that I had only given her 10%. Ugh.

If you're reading, waitress, I'm sorry. I thought you were really cute that night.

No matter if my server is male or female I tip 20% for damn near everything short of total incompetence.

You know 7 guys at a place with waitresses in skimpy outfits were being total pains in the ass and their tip proved they were assholes.

17. Same here. I tipped 25% yesterday because the server remembered my service dog.

Right off the bat she brought a take-out tray full of water for the critter. That was worth a little extra tip.

9. yeah the food is pretty bad

but we end up going on Halloween every year it seems...

I'm not saying I'm some moral authority holding his nose up at scantily clad women - I'm just saying even the nice outfits are barely enough to make up for frozen/reheated stuff they call food.
