Hey IT Folks! An Oddity

This morning I couldn't get into DU. Kept timing out, or "Cannot connect to Website."
I checked email, the Tribune, and an online banking bookmark.
All worked fine.
BTW: I'm on an Android tablet.
Tried clearing history, purged cookies... No luck.
So, I use my phone, WiFi only, and same thing. Over cell, no problem.
Finally, I rebooted the modem.
Problem gone.
Is this a common problem where the modem itself has a problem with just one destination?
I've never had this happen and was wondering how weird this is.
Really weird, or a regular thing?

2. My wifi kept crapping out for a while, but put itself back together. Lotsa 404 errors on DU...

lately that Earl G sez is a bug.

lots of us getting 403 errors trying to reply to posts. haven't seen any log in problems mentioned.

4. I Don't Know

But, I got a couple of those. But, I could still come & go from DU until this morning.
It wouldn't even let me go to a login page using an incognito tab.
After I reset the modem, I've been in & out 4 times!! No issues.
(I turn off WiFi on the tablet when I play cards on my tablet because there's no ads that way.)
If it was the bug EarlG talked about, doesn't seem like resetting the modem would have done squat!
