(11,098 posts)I am taking anatomy and we just got past a lot of the histology. The pure memorization part of the course has taken over.

(8,936 posts)a distinguished translator of Russian literature (into English) who has made numerous trips to Russia/the Soviet Union. He knows his vodka, and contributed to my vodka education by telling me the story of the initial distribution arrangement between Stolichnaya and PepsiCo in the early 1970s. His favorite brand of vodka, however, happens to be one I havent tried, shame on moi since it comes from my home state of Oregon, Crater Lake Vodka.
Meanwhile, Im still feeling a buzz from the two shots of 100 proof Stoly I had before dinner this evening.

(16,953 posts)try Pau vodka. You can get it at Trader Joe's and other places. Pineapple based. Just a hint of sweetness, extremely well balanced. Affordable. And of course, it does get you fucked up...
Aristus
(71,893 posts)The nearest Trader Joe's is a half hour drive away.

(26,518 posts)just for this!
I've just been mixing up anything fruity on hand (lemonade, lime, berries from the garden or freezer) and a splash of sparkling water with my Tito's all summer!!!
Delicious, refreshing, and gets my head where it needs to be to put up with all this crap.
Plus....my legal weed....
Just a nice way to adjust my attitude at the end of the day.
