I remember when I had a dog. I had to hide things that were the level of his mouth or below.

I now have cats. I always have to keep closet doors partially open because they like to sleep in the closets. They move around so I keep all of the closet doors open.

My Shultz liked beer ( particularly Guinness ) and our Freja liked wine. We tried to not let them get it but sometimes we forgot when we had to get up to do something quick.

I once found one in the drum of the dryer and put her on the door. She darted in, grabbed the cockroach, and ran off with it. I never would have been able to get that roach out of there that easily and not messily without her!

Before I got Maya (cat I adopted a month ago) I had a bathroom spider who lived under the sink. I had a deal with the spider - she didn't come in the shower and I almost never saw her.

Maya had no such deal. The morning after I brought Maya home, the bathroom spider was dead on the bathmat.

Before Maya we'd see the occasional cockroach, or more properly palmetto bug. Now we find dead ones scattered about. Maya might be tiny (under eight pounds for a full grown cat who had a litter of kittens before we adopted her) but she is a great hunter. Good thing she is strickly an indoor cat or she would probably hunt birds.
