He will cling to the Oval office until we drag him out. He fears indictments and prison more than he hates the "job". That being said, if he could get out, be safe from charges, and make his massive debt disappear, he'd be on the next flight out of town.

due to illness. He just did a reality show curtain call for the purpose of showing how strong he is and how resistant he is to disease. He's not going to do a U-turn and say "Resigning due to illness."
