Twitter: Not seeing it now. Need an account?

I used to be able to follow people's twitter links and actually peruse twitter without being logged in. Going to the main twitter.com page, I could see actual content.

Now if I clink a link at DU, I go to a twitter page that says unhelpfully, "Something went wrong, please try again..." and if I go to the main twitter.com page it's just a login screen.

Has something changed??

1. Same is happening here. If I retry from the original link,...

... on the second try or the third it finally opens. Try that.

Why that happen I don't know.

Never had an account, no desire or inclination to open an account.

3. I have tons of direct links bookmarked and have experienced this. Usually refreshing the page

once or twice helps or coming back a bit later. I think they have had some technical issues lately.

4. Don't know about twitter issue, but why if I touch your signature line am I

directed to Tulsa Tee products on Zazzle? I clicked on your sig line because there is a shadow on it that says photobucket, and I thought maybe that was causing your issues with Twitter..

5. Didn't know anyone ever clicked that!

Yes, my sig image links to the political section of their Zazzle shop. Although Photobucket seems to have an issue with the image hosting lately, there's never been an issue with following Twitter links. But I hadn't tried, say, clearing my browser cookies and cache, so I'll try that.
