When riding the acronym is ATGATT.. ALL THE GEAR ALL THE TIME. Even if just going down the street to pick something up. I've done too many scans on people who did NOT wear a helmet and their brains were mush. Hopefully they were organ donors. Then again that genetic line of stupid ended right there.

thankfully, he was wearing a helmet ... it split the helmet

He received 6 stitches in his arm ...

But my one brain is still (mostly) functional. The only reason not to wear a helmet is if there's nothing inside your skull worth protecting.
