Yesterday I was cooking with sweet peppers I picked earlier this week.

(19,676 posts)I like rice, impossible burger meat (major grocery chains now carrying it), diced onions, garlic, basil, oregano, a little tomato sauce. Stuff peppers then put them in a large soup kettle with lots of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce...even tomato soup. Whatever combo you have on hand but thin enough (with water) so they are covered and come to a slow boil for an hour or or hour 15 until rice is soft 🙂. One of our favorite comfort foods.

(27,823 posts)I love to add chili peppers, sweet peppers and Sultanas to pretty much every curry I make. A little heat, a little sweet. Kind of like me.

(19,676 posts)I have one banana pepper plant and one Anaheim pepper plant. Both have peppers about 2 inches long. Hoping they keep growing here in Southern Az. The over 100 degrees days are gone now so crossing my fingers.
