In response to all the negative reviews on Bruce Springsteen's new album...

Coming from Trump fans telling him that nobody wants to hear his political statements, I decided as a social experiment to leave a similar review on Kid Rock's latest Greatest Hits collection. I used all of the same cliches they do like "stay in your lane" and "nobody wants to hear your political opinions" along with the 1 star vote. How many down votes do you think I will get?

Because it's a concept album and it's kind of hard to pick one song out of context to the rest of the album.

And Springsteen’s lyrics show the sadness of getting older while leaving us with an optimism that doesn’t feel hollow. I think is one of his great albums.

I add enough music that it’s worth the monthly price.

Fortunately Amazon Prime, Amazon Music Unlimited and sometimes CBS All Access are all the subscriptions I have. And really all I can afford.

this guy loves the new album from Bruce. It's like meeting up with an old friend and reliving our 'glory days'. The first track - One Minute You're Here - could have been planted right dab in the middle of his last record Western Stars, which I loved! The song broke my heart.

Then the record kicks into an old school Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band riff that made me instantly embrace the record. Subtle, but fresh touches of Darkness and Tracks and Magic and The River and Greetings. I downloaded it yesterday morning from iTunes (noted the negative Trump reviewers and chuckled with my eye roll), put my headphones on, closed my eyes and lost myself in a dive tavern on a backstreet in Asbury Park. My rock and roll friend, Bruce Springsteen. I sure did need some new music from you and the band, Bruce - ya'll delivered!
