Been laid off thanks to the gross, negligent mishandling of Covid-19, with no hope of returning anytime soon.

Fuck you, tRump.

I have never really feared for my life and I have been in some difficult spots, but the random nature of covid means none of us are truly safe even if we follow best practices.

Now, I'm not so sure.

And we relocated to the Caribbean because of Shitler, and are not coming back. Ever.

My daughter-in-law confessed to me that they have applied for passports for their 2 and 4 year olds. If Trump wins, they are leaving the country.

And this is a couple with a million dollar house. She makes well over 500k a year.

reading books. I used to read at least a chapter every night before going to sleep. Fiction. Stories. Ever since THAT night, I just can't do it. I can't get past a paragraph or two. I can't allow myself to immerse myself in a fictional world. I can do it with TV and movies, but not books. It must be tied to my inability to sleep somehow, because there's this same feeling with falling asleep. I often jerk awake after a few minutes. It is a hell I don't wish on anyone. I hope the cure is coming soon!

For four years now, I jerk awake quickly after dozing off, multiple times a night usually.

Not sure if it has been about 3 or 4 but something like that. It has never happened to me before he became president. It makes me afraid to go to sleep many times and when I do finally fall asleep, it's usually very fitful. I only seem to really be able to sleep heavily in the late morning, but I have to get up for work during the week, so on the weekends I end up sleeping from anywhere between 10am and Noon.

It sucks! I just want him to disappear from the face of the earth. I don't think I will have a good night's sleep until he does.

I never would have believed there were this many stupid, hateful, creepy, dangerous people in this country. When I was younger I remember wondering how Hitler came to power in Germany, how people could support such a monster. I don't wonder about it, anymore. Whatever good feelings I had about our nation are pretty much shot to hell, regardless of how this election turns out.

It's now a symbol of the Trumpsters -- with their overdone reliance on multiple displays of the flag. And not to mention the dunce's hugging of all those flags.

Sleep (see above post), certain relationships, sense of well-being, trust in the government. I could probably come up with a dozen other things, but that is what I can think of off the top of my head right now.
