I have been keeping notes since I began to quarantine. This is a small entry from today. The entries range from small observations, to the major news of the day. Here's a sample.
Note to self: Whether you're quarantining or just retired, sooner or later you'll find yourself working on the best way to lick honey off a plate without getting your chin sticky.
Today, I incurred my second clothing casualty. The first casualty was getting bleach spots from spraying Clorox when I was cleaning. But the second clothing casualty of Covid are my jeans. To be fair, they arent the real rugged denims, but the stretchy kind for curvy hips. But I used them like rugged work clothes. And I used them at least every other day in the garden, since they were the only real comfortable pair of jeans I own. And now, eight months into Covid, the inseams are so worn down, that I'm afraid that my jeans will spontaneously erupt into chaps.

(115,835 posts)but I let it go a few weeks ago because my life had turned into the Groundhog Day movie - one day was just like the next, though I haven't considered bringing the toaster into the bathtub with me. But I might pick it up now that the crazy is in full swing again.
