Do you need to use the reddit app to open chat?
As it is today, to get to the various sub forums, I just type reddit dot com in the address bar. I have 2 requests to chat & touching the Chat icon does not open it. The staff at the askreddit subforum does not answer very fast. Thanks

I find that as time goes by the mobile site is crappier and crappier, I just use the app. Desktop site is still the best way though, IMO.
