Is it worth the time?
In this day and age of streaming, there's far more programs than I have time.
Thx

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
The Queen's Gambit is not a comedy, but it is a great mini series.

(42,516 posts)Jane the Virgin also has a lot of comedy in addition to the wild twisty novela plot and quite a few touching moments.
ETA: The Good Place was very enjoyable, too. Downright philosophical at times.

(9,952 posts)Also there is Portlandia, The Office, and Arrested Development. I enjoyed Lucifer. Grace and Frankie is good. And disjointed is odd, but I liked it. Politician was good the couple seasons, I haven't seen the new one. Good Omen is fun in its different odd way. One more.... what was it. Oh and watched How I met your mother series the other day. That is a fun one.

(14,852 posts)I love that cartoon, but it's apparently too weird for others who tried to watch it upon my recommendation.
Sample:
blitzen
(4,572 posts)It's a German show with English subtitles. Short 25 minute episodes. It's on amazon.
flotsam
(3,268 posts)A comedy about a mob boss living under protective custody in Norway. E Street's "Little Steven" Van Zandt is an on the run mafioso in a very funny "fish out of water" comedy with a twist. I highly recommend it-some dialogue is Norwegian with subtitles but mainly in English.

(8,755 posts)Have been watching 1 to 4 episodes a day recently and now in the middle of the 6th and final season.
Some ways similar to Schitt's Creek in that about a dysfunctional family. Not that new and from New Zealand.

(10,417 posts)It's a Canadian comedy about a little town in the middle of nowhere. No crude vulgar humor like Trailer Park Boys, but more of the dry wit kind of funny. It's on Amazon and IMDB with commercials
TPB is hilarious
I started watching The Ranch. Almost stopped after a few episodes, but I'm glad I didn't. It's pretty good. Although, considering the number of former That 70's Show people, well, it's not as good as it should be.
There's nowhere to stream this, but Duckman is great, and has stood the test of time. You'd have to get the discs from Netflix.
Married . . .with Children is still funny.
