I was up in the middle of the night again

I’d meant to watch the time on my cell phone to see what happens with the daylight savings time but forgot. How do they handle that? At 2 they roll back to 1? Or at. 3 roll back to 2? Or does time stand still for an hour? I usually reset my clocks before I go to bed but rely on the online ones to do what’s necessary.

Although our golden retriever puppy woke me up at 03:45 to use the yard. He’s usually around 04:30 to 05:00 in wanting to go out.

I believe in the spring it went from “At the tone, the time will be 1:59 and 50 seconds (beep!)” to “3 o’clock— exactly.”

But I do have a fuzzy memory that they handled spring and fall slightly differently. One went practically a full minute in. Maybe it was fall that went from “2 o’clock and 50 seconds” to “1:01, exactly.”
