It does not feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders but ...

More like the doctor’s appointment was Tuesday and we are collectively on a medication for our common mental illness. But at least we are not following the crazy man who was treating us with prune juice.

I had taken Mon-Wed. off work due to anticipatory stress and yesterday I had to call-in and take the rest of the week.

Last night, after seeing how high Biden's EV count was, I finally relaxed. I had no idea I was that uptight until it left. I instantly got interest in projects, cooking and working on family history where I'd been dragging my feet for a while.

If, by hook or by crook, something happens and Trump steals the election, I don't know what will happen to me. I don't want to go back there. It was four+ years of misery and chaos. I don't need a repeat of that hell we've just been through. My kids would look at the ceiling when I mentioned some trick Trump had pulled. Now, they may actually be interested in what I have to say.

If we'd gotten rid of McConnell, I'd be in 7th heaven.

I remember some "gifts" that appeared for several from Russia. Wasn't that around the July 4th trip to see Putin a few years ago? I may have the date wrong, but I remember the "gifts" that were supposedly given.
