I bought a bag of Wise because the flavor was onion and garlic , but Wise always seems to have a slightly- burned under taste.

(8,514 posts)I've been craving them, but resisted. My problem is that I can't eat just one. Or two. Or three................................

(2,554 posts)I can't eat just one bag. I can't stop eating them until they're all gone. They're not all that hot either.

(28,485 posts)Usually their wavy version, sometimes the regular.
And no flavored chips. I find they have a very noticeable chemical taste. Yuck.

(52,992 posts)I like their Salt and Vinegar, which unlike most of their competitors is made with vinegar. (Most of them use sodium diacetate, a powder that can be run through the same flavoring machine as the rest of their flavors. Sodium diacetate is harmless, but it doesnt taste as good as vinegar.)

(29,522 posts)They're hard to find in stores outside a relatively small distribution area, but they ship free with a minimum order that isn't exorbitant.

From the Pennsylvania Snack Belt, Lancaster/York area. Celebrate the newfound wonderfulness of our state! The Original Kettle Cookd are ridiculously addictive.

Oh. and Mrs. Fisher's if you can find them. Something about that meaty greasiness.

(57,605 posts)hands down. They tend to be available in the Upper Midwest and Canada, but you can get them on Amazon. ETA: Actually they are a rip off on Amazon. I found a site called Bob's Produce Ranch that is a lot less expensive. I've tried most of the other chips mentioned above, but there is no comparison with Old Dutch.
