Two things stand out. First is that Los Angeles is a lot hillier than I recall. And there's already a lot of smog.

Today everyone has a wireless cell phone on them.

You can see the yellow cab slowing down, but the car with the camera and the one following it just blew through the stop sign at about 1:30. Crazy LA drivers! No different today

Note the video was posted in "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" .. they've been using recent computer techniques to digitally add color to old black and white footage.

Really nice results though, fascinating to watch!
