This little scenario only works when the treats get moved around to other places that are out of reach. If the doggo knows the treats are always in that drawer, he won't stay out of there.

We would play every night. One night I told him to wait until I got my work done.

At 11 I turned on The Daily Show and we played for half an hour.

Every night for the rest of his life he would find me at 11:00 or wake me if I was asleep on the sofa.

Looks just like this good dog

this with my dog. When she opened the drawer after I left the room she would grab ALL the treats and hit the doggy door running.
Once she was trained to open the drawer no food could EVER be stored there again!
