High wind warning until 7, tonight. Hopefully there won't be too many power outages, but I'm charging my cell phone, just in case.

(27,891 posts)The usual average is in the 40's. Last year, at this time, we had already received a significant snow fall.
And not that many days ago, we were in the low 70's!

(296 posts)and cold. I always tell people that I remember lots of Thanksgivings playing basketball outside.
usually we have a real cold snap in early December and it stays cold. One weather gut I used to know called November the "month of greatest change."

Last year, right around Veteran's Day, we got hit by a big snow storm. I much prefer this year's weather. So far, anyway.
