Anyone else triggered by the color red now?

I was going through my box of winter mufflers and scarves and cannot bring myself to wear red or even mauve colored muffler scarves. Usually I love this color at this time of year, but now I am afraid by wearing this color I will send a message out that I am a Trumper. Should I post this in the Mental Health Forum?

I may glare at your hat until the suspicious hue bears a non-threatening mascot, team name or school. Wisconsin Badgers were scaring the heck out of me.

I also can't stand to look at anything besides the flag that is red, white and blue. Especially with stars and stripes.

each of which is a distinctively tweedy color far removed from the stark, nauseating color of Trumpsky's absurdly long tie and moranic (sic) caps.

My red Chicago Blackhawks baseball style cap is for around the yard for now, though with pen, paper, and scissors I often made cartoon bubbles for the logo to say uncomplimentary things about Trumpsky.

They cannot ruin all shades of red.

It's a nice looking tie but I must say I haven't worn it as much as I would have otherwise because of you-know-who.

But that's done now. Why should I be the one to give up my red tie? He's the one who sucks.

No. However, I have become attached to a character that wears read and so I think of them. If I didn’t have that associatikn, I whole heartedly think I would be triggered too.

It is emblazoned with the USMC emblem, of which I'm proud to be a former member of.

I hung it up in 2016 and haven't worn it since, because of that reason. Wouldn't want to be mistaken for being a Trumplodyte.

Maybe someday I can wear it again with pride. Don't know when, it's gonna take some time for the Trump stench to clear out from our country.

Besides, the University of Georgia's colors are red & black, so I tend to associate the color more with that than with states on a map.

It's long been a favourite color of mine and I'll be darned if I let a bunch of kool aid sucking cult followers control what I enjoy and/or do anymore than they have by voting for their grossly incompetent narcissistic septic scum cult leader.

We've been doing a long planned DYI home repair and remodel with my daughter and grands help (since they're all self isolating, remote school and laid off thanks to COVID) and I'm darn well still using red here and there and the cult following red hats can pound salt.
