I needed some glasses. Found some. Did not look at myself in mirror with them

on at pharmacy. Got home. I looked at myself in the mirror about a day later.

Yup. I look like an Angry Bird. No two ways about it. People: look in the mirror when you are at the glasses stand at the pharmacy.

Google "Angry Birds by pomplamoose", watch the video (my ringtone), and watch some of their other songs and videos.

Huge fan for about 13-15 years.

Hope you enjoy.

over US politics. We followed Britain into being informed by state radio with great information. We learnt to share early on as we always had two languages so we are used to voting in a way that does not get you everything. We made a deal with french canada to give them an equality in the 60s. Resulted in french immersion classes across the country for english students. Two languages helps the brain develop in many ways. We have had many of the same issues you had, including slavery. We just mitigated against it better. We still have some issues to work on, especially with indigenous peoples and race. The face of canada is changing and we like it. Like your Democrats we work to be a more perfect federation. We have better schools. That is because the big cities are often amalgamated so public school boards treat everyone the same. Doubt our iqs are higher. We have just been very lucky. There has been a long tradition of keeping any little guy (gal) down in the southern US by promoting ignorance. Both my grandfather and great grandfather, on the other side, were plucked out of rural public schools and put into academies that would lead to university in Nova Scotia. My grandfather stayed in his rural community and practiced medicine. My great grandfather was a NS politician and then a federal judge. They brought great values with them to their careers and shared them with their larger communities, my grandfather in community health and not charging many of his patients (this was before universal healthcare) my great grandfather by introducing the federal income tax act in Parliament and promoting income tax (which gave us our middle class). There was a continuity in lifting people up and civic engagement that was in common with the northern US. Meanwhile there were snakeoil religious types commanding the south. Probably on behalf or in a dance of some kind with the rich to keep the poor down. Very different histories.

called Zenni Optical. You need your prescription and certain measurements you get from your optometrist. The have an app where you can try on all the glasses you want on your face, and their prices are rock bottom. I've bought 4 pairs of glasses from them and very happy with them.

I recently got new glasses, but I barely tried them on. I also had to remove my mask, because the mask itself held the glasses back. I did not want to purchases glasses that were slipping down my face. I quickly found a good fit. Fortunately, I only wear them for driving, so I didn't worry about the cosmetic aspect. I don't think I even looked at them in the mirror.
