Sweet Nana

After getting married and moving into our home, I was introduced to Nana, as my wife endearingly called her - a gentle elderly lady with a beatific smile who would sit in the corner of the living room, quietly knitting. After a year, I had developed a powerful bond with this kind woman who never spoke, but whose face showed she always knew what was in your heart. So when she passed away, I cried and cried, and I blubbered out to my wife, "I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved grandma."
"My grandma?" she screamed. "I thought Nana was your grandma!"
