No really the turkey breast has been in the fridge defrosting since last Friday and not gonna be ready on Thursday. But then earlier yesterday I had a lightbulb moment. I'm gonna cut large filets off of it and leave the bone, mb for soup. Yah!

It's only me and fur daughter so no big drama.

Happy Thxgiving Day, TT! 😍

Put the turkey in there, still in package. Fill sink with cold water. After an hour, drain the sink and refill with cold. In a few times, it should be thawed. Refrigerate after.

9h, wait till Thursday morning, Because you will want to cook it within an hour or so.

I end up doing that every year. I put it in the sink early in the morning after partially thawing in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 days. It's always ready to cook when I want to start it.

It is only a 6 pounder - just hubs and me and we can eat Thanksgiving Dinner at Night if we have to. I just realized that I forgot to get the stuff I needed to make dressing. I do have the cornbread mix and onion - no celery

If you listen to or watch Stephanie Miller you will have heard this story. If not, you need to. Cesca talks about it on his podcast.

I did my breast in instant pot, it wasn't frozen but you can cook frozen stuff in them. Just cook 50% longer.

I'm far behind with everything.

My gas oven has a convection feature that may finish it off fully cooked?

I looked on the google how to cook it in this state. It's been in the fridge part since early last Friday. Sheesh.

Thanx for your holiday wish and encouragement. I wish you and yours an enjoyable, memorable, fabulicious day!🤎

Need to get a thermometer.

I roasted it today. 325° convection cook. Came out good. Took longer than if thawed completely. 😉
