I could go on.

Honestly, I couldn't stand the show for many reasons though I really liked her character. She was interesting even if Spock never mentioned her, like ever.

I wished they didn't try to shoe horn that show into the main series universe. It left so many questions.

Sorry, I am a geek and stuff like this irks me.

... It's a TV show.

Good drama, in my opinion. I cried back. But, I understand some don't like it.

It seems like there are so many flavors of Star Trek, that fans can find their home.

Upon edit: I'm an old Star Trek fan, but my main beef with Discovery is the ship's design. I'm good with the rest.

Kirk taking command of the Enterprise. At the end of the 2nd season, they went into the future for a completely ridiculous reason that I don't have the patience to explain. The 3rd season involves the galaxy after the fall of the Federation as I understand it (I haven't seen any episodes since season 2).

Watched the first two seasons. One part I liked was the actor who played Pike. I thought they destroyed Spock, and I find the Burnham character to be utterly ridiculous.

Needless to say they took canon and broke it with a sledgehammer. I would have been interested in a Star Trek series with Pike, but not after what I witnessed in the 2nd season. I dropped my CBS All Access.

I thought they handled the Talos IV story line very well though (except for the Spock situation).

I heard the premise for the fall of the Federation in the future. It is ridiculous and goes counter to a logical fall that has already been built into canon. The canon states that warp drive damages space. I could see a time in the future in which various solar systems are isolated because of that fact. I assumed that was the direction they were going.

Their scriptwriters know very little about Star Trek. They also know very little about science. I also think they miss the spirit of Star Trek .

The best Star Trek made since Star Trek went off television in the 1990s is the second episode of this season's Mandolorian. It felt more like a Star Trek episode than any of the Kelvin timeline movies or Discovery. The Orville also has some good Star Trek as well.
