(22,250 posts)a couple of die hard Texas Democrats discuss Texas politics with guests. My favorite part is the last bit on the show where every one has to talk about what they have been obsessed with for the past week.

(102,225 posts)I've found them unusually addictive--probably more so because of the local angle.
They are on their third year/3rd series, but so far I've only gotten through series 1.

(2,343 posts)with Ralph Garman (voice actor extraordinaire) and vice host Eddie Pence (stand up comedian). For as little as 15 cents a day you can laugh your ass off and learn a thing or two.
I highly recommend it. I'm a 2 star general in the Garmy.

(8,035 posts)I make it a point to listen to twice a week. On Mondays, the guest is a celebrity and on Thursdays, the show is "Experts on Experts." Some of the guests have included Jon Meecham, Sanjay Gupta, Ronan Farrow, Brene Brown, Alicia Keys, Jon Bon Jovi, Heather McGhee, Ibram X. Kendi, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and many others.
I LOVE podcasts and there are soooooo many! It depends on what your interests are. Rich Wilson and Molly Jong-Fast have a really good one called "The New Abnormal." John Heilman has one called "Hell and High Water", "WTF" with Marc Maron is excellent. And there's a lot of true crime podcasts. "My Favorite Murder", "Court Junkie", and tons more. I definitely enjoy Stephanie Miller's Happy Hour podcast too.
