What has happened to "The Chase" on the Game Show Network?

That's the one with "the Beast," a huge guy, a Brit, who supposedly has this great mind for trivia. He "insults" people who come on the show and try to beat him with their knowledge of trivia.

I liked the show as I am a bit of a trivia fan. Now it is not even on the listings of the Game Show Network.

We do get "Master Minds" but it's not as good as "The Chase" IMO.

I get all the reruns of The Chase on Game Show Network M-F. I wish they would bring it back. Master Minds is OK and I watch it because of Ken Jennings, otherwise I'm not that into it.

contrast. Sometimes it is tedious.

We have Jeopardy with Alex until mid December. I can't believe how difficult it must have been for Alex during those last tapings. Hard to believe that he is gone.

Now I feel like a death in the family has occurred.

what is so hard to deal with is he looks so good on these final shows. He also looked great for being 80.

I can only guess that he was taken very quickly at the end. I just hope he had enough pain meds to help while he was still conscious and had enough time for goodbyes.

These are times when I wish I were religious...

he opens his eyes wide as if he is seeing blurry. He didn't seem to lose much weight which surprised me. I too hope he went fast and peacefully.

I hear you about being religious which I'm not.

game show hostess ever.

It is still on in the UK. You can see episodes on YouTube. It not nearly as good as the USA version.

I think Masterminds is gone too. It was just OK compared to the Chase.

Muffy has this weird thing she does with her hands when she is doing a one on one at the end of the round. It looks like she is twisting something around her fingers...very odd.
