1. Ha ha heh...my Mom and Dad played a joke on me one time, and signed me up for the AARP ...

stuff, and I started getting stuff from AARP for decades before today...of course now a days, I'm old enough, but I wondered for the longest time why I was getting the stuff until they laughed and confessed to me. They're gone now, so I get a kick of getting this stuff now, in a way, it's a reminder of my folks.

2. If it makes you feel any better, YouTube thinks I am an elderly drunk Google junkie.

It sends me AARP, booze, and Google device ads. I am not old enough for AARP, I don't drink all that much alcohol, and I can't even figure out the devices I already own.

4. Computer Cookies can do some weird stuff

When the SCOTUS affirmed marriage equality a few years back, I was still on FB and I was posting messages about how wonderful it was and I started getting lots of ads for gay cruises (I'm straight).

Although the cruises did look like lots of fun.........

5. All the ads I get on Youtube are in Spanish

ever since I started using the English to Spanish translator on Google a few times a week.

ETA: One of my coworkers is learning English. He’s doing great! My Spanish is also improving, but some conversations need a translation for clarity.

6. Medicare plan ads in the mail. Many, many of them.

My cousin bought a Jeep Renegade last year and I looked it up on the net.

Within one minute, I was seeing ads for Jeeps.
