7. It's pretty cold to me.

The temperatures have been as low as the mid 40's at night, and the water temp has held at 58, so far. Surfing has ignited arthritis in one of my shoulders even though I've been wearing a 4/3 wetsuite, booties, and gloves since mid October. North Dakota it's not, but it still is cold.

my roof always has frost in the a.m. here in the sac valley. only a few nights of fog too. had one big wind a few weeks ago that blew 90% of the leaves off. i love the climate of so cal, wish it was here.

I know for a fact they don't do that east of the Rockies.

And yeah, it's dry as a bone in my neck of 'o the woods too.

As does most of SoCal...

I go down, kicking and screaming, thinking I'll be stuck on some industrial highway battling smog and the Santa Ana Winds - only to be taken to some beautiful, nice place where progressives are everywhere and there are no chain stores or restaurants.
