Horses peacefully snoring and farting in their stalls - I've never seen anything like this

" These horses are a family group of teachers and healers who change participants lives at www.equinisty.com. They are unique in that they are all one family and have been born and raised with love and freedom to live as wild horses in their family group while sharing a deep level of connection and communication with humans. People come from all over the world to experience a life-changing journey with nature and horses at Equinisity Retreats. This video is just for fun and to show how relaxed and happy these horses are. They will comfortably lie down and sleep with a barn full of visitors because they are loved and safe. For a bigger picture of how the horses live watch this (I'll put the link under this post)

Goats, cows, all the critters come into the barn, get fed and cared for. If you search for "crouton" there, you'll likely find it.

All the animals and they felt safe and trusted us, just imagine how cool life would be.

I believe we were once brothers and sisters with the animals, until some place in our obscure history we broke the animals trust and most animals stopped feeling safe around us.
Then our relationship changed and we lost our way of communication with them and everything changed..

Someday I would love it if people and animals would love and trust each other again,so we all felt safe and loved.

There are accounts of native american kids sleeping and playing with wolves and other animals . One story I read the child had painted the wolves faces like his with face paint.

I think the animals are as sad and stressed as we are without love or trust. One reason we are here is to love and honor our fellow animals. To share,to love and heal each other.

We have to stop traumatizing each other and the animals. And those who still want to traumatize after love and trust returns need to be exiled from animals and humans..

... when he lived in Colorado and he was hiking there in a hilly and grassy area. He said the ground was shaking from their stampede towards him.

Then they stopped to surround him for awhile, mostly acting curious, before they collectively trotted off elsewhere.

He had no idea if they were wild or perhaps owned by some rancher in that remote area.

By the way, living organisms have been killing other life on this planet for many hundreds of millions of years. I suppose that was easier than acquiring the amino acids and other building blocks of life from scratch each time.

Between prey and predetor. We are not honorable predators anymore . We keep prey on factory farms,
We kill indiscriminately.

The honorable predators would take the sick, the old,the infirm/injured. I think prey and predators knew who was to be potential food and who wasn't. Natives knew this unwritten intuitive rules too. There was once compassion in the hunt.

Now we follow no rules and harm the ecosystem for all living beings. As an animal among animals we are insane.

Sad thing is it never had to be like this.

It's not even recent. Lots of ancient species disappeared after humans arrived in their area.

Our brains are very adaptable and innovative, but long-term impacts have been repeatedly ignored by too many of us.

Edit: Months ago, I posted a scientific study here that showed the best way to combat climate change is to have no children. It was shown to be far more impactful than NEVER driving a car, riding in airplanes, etc. Almost everyone replied that it wouldn't stop THEM from having kids.

Too much to suffer through, too much stress and pressure. The responsibility of bringing another sentient being into existence was overwhelming.
Having kids would have made me miserable, and I knew this about myself early on. It was in 5th grade I decided not to have kids.

So I haven't.

Some studies have shown parents sometimes have kids for selfish reasons.

Most parents would never admit that having thier child was motivated by selfishness.

But they get pissed at people who are childfree. Guess they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. Dunno.

Imagine how much better the ecosystem would be if people in mass stopped giving birth for one year.

never experienced other people's scorn at me but then again it might have been there and I never noticed.

When I got older I realized that it was best for me to not have kids and I have mental illness and addiction in my family also and it is very genetic. Almost all the women from me up to my great grandmother on my mom's side had it. Before then who knows.

I think my brother's wife got an attitude because my mom's estate was divided evenly between me and him and they have 3 kids and 6 grandchildren. Mom said something to me about it once but didn't mention specifics. But that money will go a lot further with me than with him. I don't feel guilty about it at all.

The one thing that bothers me know is not having much family to help me as I get older. But that is not a reason to have kids!

I thought about putting our game camera in the barn to see if my old mare was having trouble getting up, timing letting her go.

Then I saw her in the pasture really struggle, a few weeks ago. Rather than have her risk getting stuck in the snow, alone, cold and scared this winter, we made the tough decision to let her go after a charmed life at the age of 28.

Thanks for sharing this. Warms the heart to see well cared for, happy horses!
