here's what i think- always keep learning

and you never get old.

i started taking voice lessons a couple months ago. i did 12 yrs of catholic school, and boy howdy did the nuns teach us lil miscreants to sing.
but i had neuro issues that made my voice flat. all these years.

that got cleared up, and my voice is strong and clear. a flat alto no more.
then i bought myself a piano for my bday. same teacher, who i adore, is teaching me that.
i already had a couple hand drums. my time is solid.
then came the tin whistle.
then the ukulele.

so, for xmas, i bought the rest of the band.
second hand stuff off ebay. 5 pc blood red pearl drum kit. groovy low volume cymbals, but a vintage 20" crash.
clarinet, flute, and the 1 spendy thing, a 70's gibson 5 string banjo.
eta- forgot about the fiddle. it said it was a violin, but this old irish girl plans to play fiddle

imma die young at 100. shot by a jealous gf, if everything goes according to plan.

have fun at karaoke. I took lessons years ago and was getting there but my teacher moved. Now, years later, I finally had another teacher lined up and that got covided. But I’m not giving up.

i rly dont get why most musicians dont learn all the instruments.
i know quite a few of them, but only one that plays it all. a true 1 man band, he is.
