Which fictional character would you like to be...and which one are you...?

...Me? I'd like to be Ellery Queen. The cool, cerebral detective who analyzed all the clues and always came up with the least-likely-culprit, with the added bonus of doing it in the days before DNA and everything else took all the fun out of detecting. Unfortunately, who I *am* is Ignatius P Reilly... how about you guys?

Remember "American Beauty"?

The daughter's weed dealing boyfriend?

That character always struck me as fascinating. It's like his character went back in time and got to to relive his teen years, but with the knowledge and experience of a well-traveled adult.

None of that teen angst bullshit affected him. It's as though he is 40 years old, but everyone around him sees him as a 17 yr old...

Just stuck with me all these years...
