Wow! This site is good. I’ve thrown two much lesser known characters at it and it got them both. Roland Deschain from Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series and Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov from Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment

8. I admit mine was obscure

But it didn't even get around to asking if it was a character from a novel until question 30. And it asked if it was a female three times even though I said it was a male at question one.
