You're smart, kind, well-spoken and literate, plus more that I can't think of now.

I had two glasses of a lovely Spanish rose with dinner, and I'm still feeling it, a bit!

Here's to a joyous, hopeful, life-affirming new year...

1. Shot of amaretto to finish off the bottle. Check.
2. Mixed drink prepared (vodka + berry/passion fruit/pineapple juice blend). Check.
3. Dank indica loaded in the bowl. Check.
4. Posted Friday Night Catnip thread. Check.

Everything else is a bonus. All that I plan on doing is chill to music, eat some pumpkin pie, and post threads on DU.

Your life affirming and always uplifting ops here at the lounge are a most welcomed Friday tradition.

Stay safe, stay hopeful and let the love flow.

Peace.

'bout to hit the "Holy Grail," then bed. Sorry. I don't name these strains, but a Holy Grail pre-roll was my reward for being a loyal customer at my local dispensary

Mur' xmas, y'all.

I've been here since 2001. I started lurking in May, desperate to find friendly voices on-line after the disaster of Selection 2000. I joined in September, just after the disaster of 9/11.

DU has helped me keep my sanity through the bad times (Bush and Trump), and helped me celebrate and enjoy the good times (eight years of Obama/Biden.)

Over the years, I've seen many DU friends leave the site and go on to other things, for various reasons. But as one of the oldest old-timers still around, I don't plan on leaving.

You can hit DU-Rec in the text field of the original post. It’s close enough to ‘Like’.

I put it out on the porch railing in 8" of snow. Smooth sipping.

This is the first year I didn't have obligations on Christmas. My friend SampleGirl brought a ham dinner to my door and it's just been one long me day. This must be how Santa feels today.

Merry Xmas!
